Our team at Lakestone Paving recently undertook a new project in Halifax, where we renovated a driveway and garden patio into functional yet aesthetically pleasing outdoor space. Our client conveyed their vision to our team, and we were eager to begin crafting the perfect solution.
The renovation was completed over the span of one week, highlighting the efficiency and dedication of the team involved. The driveway and patio were designed with a 45° herringbone pattern, a classic style that provides both aesthetic appeal and durability. The driveway utilized brindle blocks framed by charcoal borders, creating a striking contrast and an elegant approach to the property. The patio area featured a similar herringbone pattern but introduced sunrise blocks alongside charcoal, offering a warm and inviting space for relaxation and entertainment.
The garden was also transformed with the addition of fresh turf, enhancing the greenery and complementing the stonework. An old stone wall was meticulously rebuilt, preserving the character of the property while ensuring structural integrity. The total area of paving accounted for 180 square meters, including a significant addition of 40 square meters of lush turf, making this a considerable upgrade to the property’s outdoor space. The completion of this project not only improved the functionality of the area but also increased the curb appeal and potential value of the property.
